  I really enjoyed it here. Dinner buffet had wide selection, nothing huge but still lots of options from pastas to meats and sides. Salad bar had lots of veggies and pickles, couple soups and lovely breads. Many pies and crumbles for desserts. A lot of these reviews saying bad selection seem to be people who think a buffet should have 10 options for every type of food. This place had two or three each for soup, pasta, meats, veggies, salads and desserts. Nice atmosphere, nice service, good price. I recommend it and would go again.

  I remember this being so much better when I was a kid.. we came for soup but they only had two crocks of soup and two types of bread (white and whole wheat). They have a full buffet now, but it seemed like typical fare.

  April 17/2017 My son, husband & self have been looking forward to enjoying a great meal at our favorite restaurant, Stone Crock Restaurant. Have not been to Stone Crock in 6 months, we moved from the area. Drove for an hour and what a disappointment. The whole experience was just terrible. My Nachos (no chicken)where tasteless, few dark beans and something else. Thank heavens for the sour cream. My grandchildren make better tasting Nachos. Service not great either. Sorry to have to write this, but I really don't think it's worth and hour drive anymore and a hundred dollars.

  The food... The meats were very dry. The only exception being the ribs, in that some prices were good and others were very tough. The non-meat items were very mediocre, which would not necessarily have been such a bad thing if it weren't for the meats... We were also very disappointed in the dessert. We expected beautiful fresh pies, but found them to have canned fillings, covered in this terrible fake whip cream. Our waitress was lovely however, the service was excellent. It was as others have said, "a home cooked meal", but only if your home cooked meals are disappointing and over priced.
